Our seasons provide the rhythm for our crops.

We clean up from the prior year's growth and reshape our crops for the next cycle. Typically this takes place in the period of December through February.

We tie the vines to the trellis, supplying support for the coming vine growth and grapes. This occurs during February and March and can overlap with the pruning season.

In March, the vines begin to sprout leaves and grow. We begin soil fertilizer applications during this period. From April through July, we nuture the plants with the spraying of foliar fertilizers and sulfur. If necessary, we apply certified organic insecticides. Weed control is managed through a combination of hoe plowing, rotovating, hand hoeing and rotary weed removal in rows. We also use a weed flamer and certified organic herbicides.

From September through November, we bring in our grapes, delivering them to the best wineries for processing. We also apply soil fertilizer for the next year's crop, because it's almost time to start it all over again.
